As Mayor, Gina works to enhance the experience of living in an outstanding town like Palmyra. A project she’s been working on with council throughout her term has finally launched: By purchasing trash trucks and hiring drivers, we have been able to move waste management fully in-house. This innoculates Palmyra from the skyrocketing cost of waste management and will eliminate the issues of vendors not picking up resident trash — all while saving the town money both immediately and longterm.
She’s also worked to add a hiring stipend for the fire department and to create programs to provide easy access to food for seniors and other residents through a partnership with Virtua’s mobile farmers’ market as well as a program to have Covid testing and vaccinations in town. Through the Palmyra Democrats, Gina has led efforts to fundraise to provide school supplies and Christmas gifts for families in town that need help.
Gina and her husband have raised their family in Palmyra for two decades. Her exceptional dedication to the youth of our town has driven her to serve on several committees and boards throughout the community in addition to her borough council responsibilities. With an unwavering passion for the future of Palmyra, Gina is committed to seeing an increase in local programs for all residents.
