Laura is an empathetic leader whose scientific training helps her to think objectively and ask important questions. She is passionate about environmental stewardship, community engagement, and planning for the future. Laura currently runs the water resources division at a multidisciplinary engineering firm, previously led the natural resources team at a ecological engineering firm, and for nearly a decade prior to that, she was the chief scientist at a national environmental non-profit . Laura applies her extensive experience in project and budget management, strategic planning, policy, fundraising, and public engagement to her role as Councilperson. Laura and her husband Mike have lived in Palmyra for ten years.
